I'm hurt. Having my oshi openly admit that she would go corpo at the drop of a hat and that she actively searches and applies for corpos really stings.
She even went as far as to say she intends to rebrand entirely and take on a new identity. Keeping her branding and design under a corporate umbrella isn't even something she's considering, she would throw away everything she's worked for. She wants to get rid of her entire persona.
I can only take this as her feeling entirely ashamed of the last few years of being a vtuber. Ashamed of what she's accomplished in that time, ashamed of her fans, ashamed of herself.

She seems to naively view corpo life as a golden ticket that will fix all of her problems like magic. From some of the comments she made, she thinks that having someone control every aspect of her content will circumvent her poor planning and organizational skills. She made far fetched assumptions that there would be multiple staff at her disposal and the budget to design, create, and rig models and outfits at a pace that she wants (while also assuming that she would enjoy vtubing with a new design she has zero input on), as well as take on the responsibility of booking events and invest in + handle a full suite of merch for her.
She averages between 100 and 175 viewers.
It's only a matter of time until this runaway train falls off a cliff, the only question is whether or not I get off now or moments before disaster.
