Americans who are more well-informed about politics, especially about US-Israel relations in particular, will balk at it, but a casual American who just listens to politicians' speeches will actually believe a lot of this stuff. A common grievance of young Republican voters is that the GOP is too pro-Israel, and shills play on the concerns of the majority of American voters in the 18-40 demographic who use 4chan. Their problem is just that 4chan is a much more informed group than the vast majority of Americans.
