One thing I liked about Serena is the fact that even though one of her biggest reasons to leave the house was to no longer do Rhyhorn racing, she still took her jumpsuit with her. Why did she do this? Was it purely because she didn’t want something like that to go to waste, despite it reminding her of years of doing something she didn’t like to do? Was it because she still wanted a reminder of where she came from, and her roots even as she’s looking for and pursuing something different? Or could it be because deep down, she didn’t want her mother to look at that hung up jumpsuit and possibly feel that her daughter truly resents her for all those years?
