>Although does it really make a difference?
I'd say so. Genuine failure is better than false hope. She won't know, but we will.
>I like to imagine he lines up all his old victims as an audience for his next petrification.
Well, in that picture, he's selling the statues off. His old victims are scattered across the world, decorating private gardens and shady art galleries.
Do you think this magical trio will be kept together? Will Miyu be displayed along with her buddies, forced to constantly stare at the girls she failed to save? Or will they be separated, isolated from their friends, never to see eachother again? I can't decide which is worse.
>She must have had a nice, pleasant, friendly conversation with her unfortunate victim as she lovingly, mockingly, drapes her nude body with flowers and silks, and braids a flower crown into her hair.
I found the blurb for that picture, and...yeah, that's exactly right.
>Every day, she ponders turning the girl completely into a statue, but listening to her pleas, playing with her hair, and decorating her proves to be much more satisfying. And if she does want something more statuesque, she could always just tell the girl to stay as still as possible with whatever expression is appealing at the time. It’s win-win!
>Imagine what that girl must feel every time she looks down at her body and sees smooth marble?
The hottest part is when she builds up the courage to ask the gorgon to change her back, and she just laughs in her face. How would she do that? Doesn't she know her myths? Her gaze turns people to stone. What, is she supposed to look at her backwards? Maybe if she stands on her head? Of course not!
To medusa, it's a laugh riot and another reason to keep her like this. To the mostly-statue it's her last hope being mercilessly crushed.
