Just lost my second ornithopter this week when my game crashed while flying over the deep desert. I had my storage bays filled with stuff to run from the deep desert back to my base in Hagga Basin. I had to verify the integrity of my local game cache to get the game to let me load back in. Of course by the time I could get back in I lost my assault thopter to the worm. I just put tier 6 hummingbird wings on it as well as a tier six engine and tier 6 booster.
