Trevor Noah is wildly unfunny. I'm amazed that a dude with an entire team behind him is so unfunny. They almost got some unfunny muslim guy to replace Trevor too, until people found out he lied egregiously in his stand ups. I'm so tired of the late night talk show format. Serious sentence, joke sentence, cue audience laugh, repeat. Throw in some cookie cutter jokey tangents in there too to spice things up and you got the formula.
