I'm still mad about pilot gameplay, because they somehow downgraded it from GBO1. Pilots are extremely slow, can't hitch a ride on friendly suits, and there isn't any pilot-only control points.
Reconguy can capture beacons by crouching on them with his radar gun, and that's the only instance in the entire game where a suit can capture a points without needing to get out.
Your idea is actually quite good, because then it'd actually form a strategy to push the enemy back into base rather than just camping them at their spawn beacon in order to make wins more guaranteed. I could imagine it like this
>lose first team fight, but recover the match and start pushing them back
>make noise at their main gate while a pixie jumps in from behind and slashes their generators so the gate opens
>all hell breaks loose as your team begins to destroy their base of operations, but you really have to clean up in order to get the full bonus, all while fighting the enemy back
This game also needs Conquest back from GBO1, because every single mode is just TDM. Basic, Simple, Mix-up and Ace are literally all TDM with varying rules.
