Supposedly the US is in terminal decline, and its influence in the wider world is waning, and yet somehow the US has managed to get the G7 to assume its posture w/r/t Iran, and even Russia and China, though not joining in explicitly condemning Iran, seem inclined to sit on the side lines, not helping Iran, despite Russia especially standing to lose if the regime falls.
