The source material was lacking but the animation was so well-made that I can neither forget about this show nor delete it from my hard drive.

The animation was beautiful in episode 11 and the monos were cute.

Yes. Seems like the final episode will be an anime original. I would ask mangafags, but there don't seem to be any despite the manga elitism shown in the earlier threads.
