I actually saw a giant standee of this military ad with Superman at a local theater in Boston, which is a very liberal often anti-war college town. Then again, this was 2013 with Obama in office, so the anti-war rhetoric had cooled down despite Obama launching more drones and engaging in even more conflicts than Bush Jr did.
It really is amazing how Hollywood pretends to be "liberal" and anti-war, but often gets tons of money from the DoD.
