The two girls ask the obvious question in unison.

The girl flushes. “What?! Didn’t you two hear any of what I just told you?!? There could be a killer here, watching us as we speak! We shouldn’t share any personal information at all! Especially not here!! It’s dangerous! What if the killer finds out where we live and kills us in our sleep or something?!”

Lorene narrows her eyes as she tries to quickly think.

>How many magical girls are there in the city?

“Uhhhhhhhhhhhh actually, you know what, I don’t even know?” The girl stops pacing and puts a hand to her chin. “Let’s see… me… Coordinator… you guys… detective? Maybe? I don’t know like twelve or something? Anyway, those are your questions, time’s up, let’s split off!!”

As the girl turns to run, a confident voice calls out. “Wait just a second!” Clover hmphs with a self-assured air. The eyes of both Lorene and the mystery girl turn toward her. “I’ve solved the case!”

“Huh? Already?” The mystery girl tilts her head. “What did you figure out?”

>J'ACCUSE! I think YOU killed them!

“What?!?!? You think I’M the killer?!? Why would I even put myself in danger by coming all the way out here and broadcasting to everyone that the Coordinator was killed?!?! Wouldn’t it be smarter to just leave that hidden?? …Wait………” The girl gasps. “What if one of you are the killer!?! Maybe you were just pretending the whole time, to try to infiltrate?! I’m SO DEAD AAAAAAAAAAAAA” The girl runs and jumps away, as fast as she can.

Both girls blink.

Belatedly, after quickly rethinking through their conversation in her head, Clover realizes she didn’t seem to be lying.
