Millennials: 1981–1996 (Avg. Age - 36.5)
Zoomers: 1997 – 2012 (Avg. Age - 20.5)
Alphas: 2013–2025 (Avg. Age - 6)
> I feel like our generation is irrelevant
Your feelings are correct. By the time Zoomers hit their teenage years, the internet had already become centralized, destroying isolated pockets of people from which culture is created. Which is why Zoomers don't have a generational identity, whereas previous generations, the identity was apparent. Boomers were "squares", Gen X were apathetic, Millennials were absurd, and Zoomers aren't anything, they're fractured, there is no common generational movement.
>gen alpha is having more influence on the internet now
No. The average Gen Alpha is 6 years old. Maybe in another decade or more... But now.. No, Zoomers are still seen as the children, and alpha seen as the babies.
