It is really crazy. But God doesn't answer the question. That just shifts the question to the next metaphysical layer. So where did God come from and why does God exist? Why does anything even exist at all? Even if there's an universal, omnipotent, timeless consciousness floating through the fabric of the dimensions... why does it exist?
