only Japan is safe for now, but they unfortunately have yet to repeal Article 175 even in an "adult" society
if it is a properly international carrier, everyone should adopt UnionPay right now

I've been saying that introducing UnionPay everywhere would straighten them up quick
they allow adult transactions and ironically would more likely be dobbed on by VISA/MC agents
