Personally I enjoy PC + Switch, but home consoles have always had some major advantages to PC.
>Plug in play where it's UI is easy with a controller. PC can do this too, but to set up a PC as a console you have to install Steam OS or have a 3 line script enter big picture mode on start up in Lindows and bypassing login. Or pressing a button for Steam Big picture mode
>Everything is built around a controller by default. Steam's big picture mode has allowed for community guidelines and the ability to edit controller support to emulate certain keyboard controls.
>Physical being cheaper than digital, due to the lack of control publishers have over it over time and the ability to give/resell what you own. Physical is mostly dying out, sadly. This point mostly only exists for the base PS4 over the PS5 since PS4 discs have become so cheap.
Home consoles are dying, since PC is removing the base advantages of home consoles more over time, with home consoles actively trying to remove their advantages for no good reason.
