I assume he just hits his deadlines and the people complaining aren't buying or are Wednesday Warriors who will buy regardless. Any of these comics I try read the artists constantly have to take extra breaks or the books switch artists constantly. (also as bad as Land's stuff looks there is somehow worse on the shelves)
Marvel and DC don't seem to care much about the appearance of their comics divisions so aren't concerned with their reputations. It would take people actually not buying his books to stop him or Marvel and DC getting good lol, even if he does a variant which cover that shit still sells because comic consoomer logic
