Since then, inflation hasn’t just hit food and gas. It’s warped the entire economy: stocks, housing, education, healthcare — all inflated beyond reach. And by 2020, the COVID response pumped this into overdrive. Multi-trillion-dollar deficits are now the norm. It’s not new every fiat currency in history has ended this way.

The U.S. dollar has lost over 99% of its value since 1913. And it still has another -99% to go. That’s the trajectory. Which brings us to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin emerged around 2009. not as a meme, not as a scam, but as the first digital money that actually works. It’s not just a coin. It’s a network and an asset. Before Bitcoin, we had fast internet and instant communication, but not native internet money. Yes, we had PayPal, wires, and credit cards, but they rely on slow, permissioned systems. You can be blocked, banned, or censored.

Governments use tools like SWIFT to cut off countries. Banks deplatform individuals over politics. Since the ‘80s, people dreamed of true digital cash that was decentralized and censorship-resistant. It wasn't until Satoshi and others combined cryptography, proof-of-work, and distributed networks, that Bitcoin was created: the first digital asset that’s truly scarce and verifiable. The discovery of digital scarcity which can't be replicated even though its been tried by millions of altcoins at this point. And yes, all I am going to say about alts is that they are all mostly 99% scams and ways to take your Bitcoin.
