In March 2025, a scout from the 155th Mechanized Brigade, call sign "Timon," defended the approaches to Pokrovsk from his position in Shevchenko village.

During this combat mission, four of his brothers-in-arms died, leaving him alone. But he continued to carry out the mission – he consolidated his position and encountered two enemy scouts, managed to capture them on his own, and spent eight days with them.

"Timon" gathered and communicated information by listening to their radios, repelled four assaults, waited for rotation and orders to withdraw. During the withdrawal, one of the POWs was blown up by a mine, while another was added to the exchange fund. After this combat mission, "Timon" was awarded the Cross of the Brave medal.
