it's a very intense weaving of danger and femininity, shoes that ride up the legs and have heels are unmistakably female, and the heels look and are painful to be stepped on with, boots and socks show off the shape of the legs but still put a barrier over the skin that say she 'can't be touched'. black is a badass color but shine/gloss comes through best on black material, giving it the slick/wet looking gloss that activates neurons. i wish we knew more about this
