I had an Indian malaysian friend and she had nothing bad to say about the Chinese, but very much hated the Malay majority with a passion. She'd seethe at least once a week about how they're given such an easy ride through the education system. I don't know how it is there based on experience, but from the writings and the personal anecdotes I've heard it all points to a lazy and entitled Malay majority giving itself a huge amount of affirmative action, and lording over their majority status.
