feels like it's part of the script to get people to demand MORE surveillance and MORE police presence. that was the entire play of the defund the police thing after all, to have the entire country demanding more security no matter the cost to being able to take a shit without a demon in a computer estimating your meat consumption based off of your septic tank's contents.
