i personally think it's shit and comet itself isn't great in jg

you do negative damage in burst windows where you should be killing + you lose domination runes

go comet + rylais + orb(if needed) + cryptbloom if facing 3-4 bruiser setups where you can't kill with a rotations

otherwise just go electrocute
you get sixth sense/grisly mementos which have stupidly good value + relentless to enhance snowballing especially in midgame(since we don't go blue smite)
early pen shoes and shadowflame will be your biggest spikes
shadowflame lets you delete people in a root + ult combo without the need of the plants

you get overall less damage in lengthy games than comet setup but you get damage exactly where you need it
electrocute makes all the difference in the early game that sets you up for a really fucking good mid-late game
