Behind in amounts of equipment? Sure, but even Ukraine is considered ahead of Russia in terms of drone and weapons development in general, we have 3.5x the population, far larger economy, all we need is unity and Russia literally cannot prevail, we can hire people to fight, more so than russia, we have far more people, we can outlast a war of attrition easily, with military industries in Europe picking up, it's a closing window for Russia I think, the fact that Ukraine destroyed a fairly large part of Russias aerial arsenal as well, makes a difference.
