One of the memorable things about MGD for me is the fact that the writing is good enough that I'm surprised that some areas have no backgrounds whenever I replay them. I could swear that Venefica's shop, Trisha's inn, the succubus campers' cabin, Tabitha's home and others all had backgrounds, but no.
They were just described well enough that I made up vivid 3DCG backgrounds in my mind for all of them and just remembered them as fact. Makes it hurt even more that the full game is never ever.
