Lamp is only truly OP with Blueprint squad like Doodle was. While Talons can self-sustain as any other squad since the game spams you with spines, Lamp/Doodle are highly reliant on either Blueprint squad or very careful blueprint planning. Not having BPs to go vertical is what kneecaps Lamp/Doodle.
