Moore just hayed Rorschach's politics but liked V's. He made Rorschach to diss Ditko and Objectivism while V was a self-insert/love letter to anarcho-communism who got to assassinate the Thatcherites he bitched about while muttering spells to Glycon while his wife cucked and left him for a woman. His Promethea, Lost Girls, Necronomicon, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books are the same way. Any character that acts as a soapbox mouthpiece for his ideals are tragic hero(ines) that fail only because of "society" at worst/win at best. Everyone else are caricatures or strawmen eho die and/or get raped, simple as.
