Two civilians injured as Russian airstrike hits apartment building in eastern Ukraine

A Russian airstrike slammed into a multi-story apartment building in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kupiansk on Tuesday, injuring two civilians and setting the structure ablaze, officials said.
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, reported that a 69-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman suffered acoustic trauma, a type of ear damage caused by a powerful explosion.
He stated that the strike hit the lower floors of the building, completely destroying several apartments. Emergency services were responding to the resulting fire.
