Have you been paying attention at all to the left wing? Jews have been increasingly excluded from the "oppressed" category, there was a whole controversy at the Women's march because Muslims get more victim points than Jews and Jews tend to be wealthy and since the rich are also bad, Jews lose points there to, therefore it's acceptable to view them as oppressors and to criticize and exclude them. It's also why support for Israel is so low on the left and is really only a right wing thing in the USA
