It's more that you can't be shown bisecting a humanoid and keep the E rating. Serpent and Albert get offed, but only after they've transformed into giant monsters. I guess it's the same deal with Iris, where they have her eat a purple crystal and turn into a big Ride Armor so you technically get to keep your hands clean.
