I think this thread teaches us alot about tattoos.

>Never pick a shitty artist. You don't want to forever brand your skin with a shitty unshaded character scribbled with an unsteady hand. Find someone who does some real work and pay the extra price needed for a good job.

Basically if you're going to permanently mark your body, make sure it's with a work of art and not some shitty injoke you can wink and nod over with a fat guy in starbucks.
