Fumihito is the current Crown Prince of Japan. He is also the honorary president of the World Wide Fund for Nature Japan, the Japan Tennis Association, and the Japan-Netherlands Association. He is also a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

As the crown prince, Fumihito is a member of the Japanese royal family, also known as the Yamato Dynasty. The Imperial House of Japan recognizes an unbroken line of 126 monarchs, going all the way back to Emperor Jimmu’s coronation on February 11, 660 B.C.. Prince Fumihito is the younger brother of Emperor Naruhito. He is the younger son of former Emperor Akihito and former Empress Michiko.
