i don't think mads would be a knight, because her issue is anger management and lack of patience, she'd be more of a barbarian/berserker type. she's not really a cold schemer, more of a go getter. the dummy liefmotif/cats stuff with spamton is very interesting though

mettaton would maybe fit thematically, as the game is about the dangers of over indulging in escapism. and that's pretty much mettaton's entire character, forcing entertainment on people and ignoring shitty real life. he brainwashes people and disappears them if they disagree with him in his neutral ending as well, like Queen does.
pointing away from him is that i don't think he is ever seen with a knife or sword of any kind

papyrus and sans, we genuinely don't know enough about the skelebros origins to speculate about their motives for doing such a thing imo. it's weird 3 characters became shut ins, i think maybe paps is wandering around in the dark worlds and that's why we haven't met him yet.
