"Maybe we can go there?" Mel suggested. "To Bed and Barn Inns, I mean."

"They'll have my fookin' ass, mate." Cattleya said as she ate some toast on eggs. It was a reasonable worry, considering what she did when Rostchilde tried to force himself on her. "I'm not going to be some bloody cat sarnie."

"And I wouldn't want you to become one." You said, not feeling thrilled about the thought of letting them see your face. "Showing ourselves wouldn't be a good idea."

"Maybe we could use illusions when going there?" Mel said.

"Why not invisibility?" You said.

"Yeah, uh, that too. You always have better plans, Master." Mel added sheepishly.

"Oi, we should go and see the other places first." Cattleya meowed. "Feels like it's 'round the time for people to go in hotels. Ask 'bout the blokes that were causing grief, maybe catch them in the act."

"I like it." You said, half wondering what Ruby might've said about this plan. A shame she went to get her beauty sleep. "Let's do this."

And so the three of you ventured out into the bright city night.

There were more than a few things you noticed now that you weren't tailing behind someone. In between fending off drunks and others that would try to harass your wives (though most kept their distance due to Cattleya), you could see how even the most darkest of always was smothered with artificial light (so long as it was the better part of the city, that is). It was magic, according to Ruby. Electricity didn't really catch on in this place, at least, not the standard sort of electricity you knew.

Illuminated throughout the region, it was clear which places were common grounds for people to visit at night, and which were mostly relegated to being forgotten.

Starting with Cinnamon Inn, an illuminated place that you and your wives were already familiar with, the three of you begin your adventure there. Little did you know this would be the beginning of meeting with countless hotel receptionists, managers, and even loiterers outside. Each of them was directing you, whether they were friendly or not, and making your wandering less aimless.

Out of all the leads you'd found, two stood out to you. The first came from a bunny woman that you happened to pass by, staring up at Builder's Hotel.

She was short. Short enough that she had to crane up her head if she wanted to get a good look at you, much less Cattleya, who was currently hidden by some shadows and waiting to ambush anyone that came near you. You debated on whether to use her as intimidation, but you found that information was much easily gotten from those that were suddenly surprised by a giant, nearly-naked, and pregnant catgirl. This short woman was also flat enough to give Yumi a run for her money, and was dressed in what were now rags, but had doubtless seen better days.

But the most interesting part the bunny ears that sprang from her head, gently twitching as you approached.
