It is a big point in the shows favour but as I said I don't appreciate it as much as some people in these threads because I'm a /mu/ casual. I do like Jrock and listen to Kinoko Teikoku and Bandmaid and Soutaiseiriron but I don't really have much ability to discern why I like and dislike stuff. I just do.

If Bocchi didn't have Cloverwork behind it, I'd actually probably like this show more over it, that plot beat and a lot of stuff in Bocchi I didn't care for but Cloverworks is just an incredible studio. Would have love to have seen them do this. I think the studio did a fine job, nothing amazing outside of somewhat decent CGI, didn't compare to GBC but no studios can compete with Toei when it comes to CGI.
