it can be all of it. I like "her" more, because in theory, if the soul is really female in a mesurable manner, that makes more sense for her to insiste on the pronouns.

Also I liked the bit where she is talking with Cagliostro, he saying that could give her a female body to have a body that match her soul. and even if Ladiva loves the idea, she love her parents alot, and because the union of their love gave her that body, she could not throw it away and try to replace it. so she decides to keep his current body. and that is nice and a good message about loving your body how it is, and trying to keep it healty and protect it, no matter if your "soul does not fit the look"

and also is funny having the masculine guy do that stuff.
