this has happened so many times in the past to different games
these "activists" always single out one game and immediately start pearl clutching saying all video games are like this, with violence, sex, etc

something definitely doesn't sit right with me about how effective their campaign was though, they got a near-instant reaction from steam and it sets entirely dangerous precedents for other groups to start swooping in and doing the same with their issues like gun violence
so why exactly did it only take two weeks from the open letter being published for processors to reach out to steam+itch and give them an ultimatum so pressing that they had to immediately redact a shitload of games??? just because a bunch of fat women said "ummm we hate rape!!!"
