It's kinda weird how he's almost portrayed as a child, like he's a small little brother who you can relate to because you also started at the bottom of the food chain, wanting to grow stronger, either for survival or to make a name for yourself, so ou're to teach him and make sure he grows into a strong independent bug. That's what bothers me the most. You've got 44 characters, a lot of them with quirks, charismatic introductions or an interesting backstory, and yet most of them never really expand on their origins or talk outside of a few lines when they get back up, heal someone, get healed and one or two interactions with the environment and other recruits. I wanted to see more from Espher, Red, Luquin, Chad, Griffin, Kang and others, but was left with a bunch of disposable thugs I wouldn't really feel attached to if they get killed.
