You should hate them being mortal not human like I do. There's no reason why becoming archon wouldn't make someone immortal besides fat xiao saying so (although you could say that becoming archon should've evolved a human to godhood). Remember that allogenes are those with the potential for godhood. Then also the yet unaddressed issue of Natlan's history being fabricated.
