we had 4 cats, currently we have 3, one died last year because of epilepsy issues, her heart gave up just before we got to the doctor to put her to sleep without pain at least but couldn't be granted even that, its legit soul draining to see them go away, in such way too, when you grow up with them, they are almost my only friends and i cannot imagine a future without them, even now i have sunk into deeper depressions because if it wasn't bad enough, my grandfather passed away last year too, however we lost all of our family inheritance to bitch he was living with and she was poisoning his mind for years ( and quite literally poisoning him with bad mushrooms too ), turns out they secretly married several years ago and he gave everything to her in his brainwashed state, now she and her bastards that aren't even related to the family get everything, it hurts all the more when you spent your childhood there and it was the only place on the planet that you could do whatever you want without any fear there, when grandfather died, grandma got stroke some 2 weeks later and now she is also dependent on us, sadly we already live in such cramped apartment she has to stay in her own one but at least it is just across the road.
I've never in my wildest dreams thought this kind of shit will happen within the span of several months.
Sucks even more when you're poor too, i dread the day seeing my cats and grandma pass away.
