That's kind of been the opposite of my experience with Illustrious. I can't speak to anything else past or present.

I'm unsure what you mean by simply "better" in this context and you haven't given any numbers of what you consider high or low. I saw an image boasting 60 steps today and that seemed excessive. I meant to imply finding a sweet spot between too low or too high. Not simply advocating for something like "oh if you can get away with 5 you should do it". Eyes with my current settings, as an example, are coming out better than they ever have before, for me.

Most recently I've been trying to wrap my head around CFG scale's effects, so that's where my head is at currently, though.

Example pic isn't incredible or anything but there's a lot less blemishes than I've had for a while.
