So Natlan is sort of a mini-Teyvat, a Teyvat within Teyvat, and probably a preview of what will happen to the rest of the continent once Sibling's plan gets going. Meaning that every region has its own "Night Kingdom", but access to it is harder due to stronger leylines. I like that it's kind of a self-made region, built from scraps that the humans stole from dragons (phlogiston tech) while the other regions are more stable and interconnected. It's a fantasy third world.
