You're right, in a way internet worked as a mirror, some kind of hyper consciousness surpassing the classic biological overrated "rationality". We are seeing society's ego death, we are watching a collective shadow work, we are becoming sapiens sapiens sapiens. I like to consider this age as some kind of humanity's teenage years: lost, nihilistic, hopeless, suicidal, after discovering how the world truly is. If this teenager doesn't destroy himself, I believe this will be a important step for it to fullfil its potential.
