1. Don't skip the story. Despite what some may say, there are small parts that you can't rewatch that give you insight you won't remember later but might want to.
2. Don't feel forced to follow "use EN voices". I did, and I regret it. At least 80% of all voices in this game are indefensibly atrocious and it will sour your experience. If you're predisposed at hearing Japanese (e.g. you watch anime with some regularity) then by all means switch the language to that. Same with Korean if you're a k-pop fan or watch Korean dramas. The usual suspects immediately resort to name-calling if you share this opinion, which kinda proves it's true.
3. You can reroll, only takes 7 minutes once you get the hang of it. If you want to start nowt, that's completely fine. But if you are a certified reroller, I recommend you start in two weeks so you can reroll for a 1-pull of Kiperina, Voyager, and Barcarola. Those 3 on the same team will carry you for 99% of the game, unlike any current banner combination.
4. Be cautious with your resources. It's normal to want to immediately level up to the max the characters you like, but you'll underestimate the system. I recommend you follow the guide in pic related once you get the hang of things and understand what these terms mean.
5. Don't feel pressured to tackle the game to quickly. Like all gachas that have been going for a while, a new player can get overwhelmed by its systems. Take your time.
5. This game falls into the "yuribait" category. Despite that and what your first reply said, this is not really a queer-friendly game. There has been a single lesbian couple in the game in one text in one character's story, where neither character is playable or even seen. Some players ITT with an agenda are hellbent into confusing newbies about this and pretending there are any instances of representation besides the one I just told you about, which is the one (1) time it has happened in the 25 months this game has been alive.
