Rouge's current voice is all wrong. I want to say it's just them forgetting to provide adequate direction on how she's supposed to sound but with stuff like Sonic Prime making her wear a full bodysuit I can't deny the possibility it's a deliberate effort to de-sexpot her.

Something like this was also observed in how she sounded in Sonic Dream Team.
