also, this is one of the things i didn't really get about the skyranger take off discussions. everything shown off as weird/mechanic ignoring/gimmicky were things invis could do from year 0. the only reason take off is unique is because they never bothered to release operators with invis. dodging the chapter 14 lasers is the one thing that seems weird, but that's evidently because the lasers are regarded as a ground enemy. invis does the same thing
