In the Ming dynasty, this would be the regular clothing that they wore, so no shit they wouldn't randomly attach "han" to it. It'd be like calling a pair of jeans "Americlothes" instead of just calling it "clothing". Maybe in 500 years, jeans will be called "Americlothes".
