I mostly use the stands because I have habit of bumping the table while using the camera. They were 10 for $20, so it's not a huge investment for either display or photography. I just got into the hobby and will try floral wire and blue tac for the next shoot.

Idk if the legs are just me. I just got the power ranger cammy for some cursed nostalgia.
