How to become a tech worker and make millions? Is it still possible in 2025? Is the dream dead?

I remember some time between 2011 and 2014? /g/, /sci/, and nerds from a couple other boards were collaborating on some cicada-esque challenge quiz, trying to beat a team from Reddit. We coordinated on an IRC channel called #300kstarting (p sure it was started by a /sci/fag lol) on I think Rizon? Does anyone remember what that was?
