The ending of Fire Punch was the protagonist literally waiting until the heat death of the universe (or just about, I forget the exact timeframe) to finally be reunited with his love and before that he was an autistic lobotomite. I expect something as bittersweet as that at the very least.

With the whole clone ability thing this decision definitely feels more snakey in retrospect. I'd agree if she was an independent devil hunter but she's supposed to be with PS, so she comes off like she was intentionally screwing them over for whatever reason.
