The politics are this way on this place because we live in a country where different regions have different worries. The northeast is poorer, votes overwhelmingly left everytime, is majority brown, and has a different culture and dialect overall, they want more government gibs and the end of poverty. The south is majority white(brazilian standards), votes mostly right, is richer per capita, and is more worried about ending violence in the country instead of poverty. We do not really have the same interests in mind and are barely held together under the label of "Brazil", we are slowly becoming different nations and I don't know how this will end.
